Gratuities:

A question that is often asked by trekkers is gratuities for our PNG young men that guide you up the mountain.

If you decide to pay a tip, we suggest K150 head guide. K100 per guide, personal porter K50 each. The guide’s fees are split amongst the group. Eg K150/5 trekkers would be K30 per person.

Remember gratuities are not compulsory, but we do find that at the end of a climb trekkers want to give some sort of gratuity.

“Jasmine,This thank you is long overdue! Last summer you assisted me in launching my Sepik River voyage. I think I've waited so long to thank you because this means my Sepik adventure is over and I must say goodbye and let go of what an amazing experience it was and begin to plan another trip. The Sepik will run within me the rest of my life! The people I met captured the very best of the human spirit and I felt a sense of peace throughout. It was beautiful!DerekP.S. I'm developing and catching up on my travels and pictures. Those works are to come..."
